Archbishops palace and The Friars, Kent Wedding Photography
Another great sunny day to be a Kent Wedding Photographer! I love photographing at The Archbishops Palace in Maidstone; it’s so bold and dramatic and there are so many little nooks for photos! The day started at Julie and Rob’s home photographing the bridal preparations and getting to know the family (and watching the Prosecco start to flow!). The morning went zooming past and we were soon on our way to The Archbishops Palace for the ceremony. I met with a nervous looking Rob and photographed him trying to stay calm as he waited. Julie and Rob have a gorgeous little girl; Freya… so much of the preparations outside the ceremony were about making sure she was ready to walk mummy down the aisle.. so adorable!
A gorgeous, intimate ceremony was followed by ‘coordinated’ (not posed!) photos with the gorgeous palace backdrop followed by a BIG BUS journey to the reception at The Priory in Kent; a venue I’d never been to before and it was LOVELY. The best kind of rustic DIY style, so perfectly understated and relaxed. The fun really began here as the barbeque got started and the ice cream van soon arrived! Kids were able to run around freely in the sun and it was an absolute pleasure to capture the candid moment of this chilled out wedding day. Thanks for the yummy vegan salad too guys!
Great day! Fab couple and Archie and I thoroughly enjoyed being your paparazzi style wedding photographer!
